MEET WINKIE…and yes, he only has one eye….but sees perfectly well with it!  Winkie is a sweetheart of a dog, all 8.11 lbs of him!  He is tan/white, about 4.5 yrs old and a purebred Shih Tzu!!  Petite, sweet and one of the funniest characters ever!  Winkie has the energy of a puppy and he never met ANYTHING he didn’t like!  He’s a fantastic eater, loves his walks, loves meeting and greeting everyone on the street…especially dogs!  He will either kiss them or jump up to give them a hug!  He has driven his roommate a little bonkers because he’s always trying to hug him!  

Even with his single eye and small size, Winkie is a very confident dog.  He doesn’t seem fearful of anyone, anything or any dog, big or little.  Because he is so petite, we wouldn’t want to put him with another dog over 20 lbs, but gentle kids over 8 yrs old would be ideal.  Plus, Winkie would love a canine playmate to zoom around with — we’ll let him choose!  He loves to give kisses and just be your buddy…so we hope he won’t be alone too many hours without you.  Very well mannered for the most part and a great “take along” pal.  He might need a little refresher course on potty training but uses outside and a potty pad most of the time.  Does Winkie sound like a guy you could flirt with and take home forever?  **(he has kennel cough but we hope he will recover before adoptions on Sunday)
