MEET MADISON….and if you get a kick out of adorable, tan/white, 17 lb, 9 yr old, wonderful Lhasa Apso who grunt and snort when they are happy…this is the girl for you! 

Madison’s story is sad, as she has been shuffled around more than she ever should have been…all by people who love her.  Life happens.  Her mom, who took her back from her daughter, is having healthy problems and needs to move closer to family, who already have too many dogs.  Reluctantly, because they adore her, they have trusted LHH to find her the new, perfect home! 

Madison is good with EVERYONE.  She is fine with other dogs and has begun to engage with ours, but she is also fine as your one and only.  The only thing she really doesn’t like is grass!  She does her business on the sidewalk or concrete — always outside or on a pp pad in an emergency!  She fit seamlessly in our foster home and is healthy, alert and loving.  She is definitely a “belly rub hussy!!”  Loves those belly rubs! 

Madison gets soooo excited when it’s time to go out and does a little fancy dance!  She is great going up and down the stairs but her favorite thing to do is perch on a couch or chair!   She comes when you call her (most of the time) and she has a clean bill of health from the vet.  Eyes are great!  She does get ear infections from time to time, but those are easy!  Madison is a girl for all seasons and all reasons!  Don’t let her age dissuade you — our Lhasa lived to be 19.5 yrs old!
