THIS IS ZEUS….and we named him that because he stands like a god, with royal stature being a 3-4 yr old, gray and white, 16 lb, Lhasa Apso. In actuality, Zeus is an amazingly smart dog who learns, as all dogs do, with repetition. He wants to please you above and beyond all else. When we first got him and en he was around other dogs, he was so curious, wanting to kiss all the dogs and the people and sometimes, he even makes a nuisance of himself and the other dogs don’t like it.  When he is with you, without another dog, he is very calm and has a totally different personality!  However, we think he would prefer having a canine playmate who is as playful and curious as he is! He came from the Carson Shelter….and he had owners who never came for him.  There he stood, looking so beautiful and a great representation of the breed.  He gets along with everyone….loves kids, people, dogs.  He has NO FEAR whatsoever, he’s even great with big dogs and might be best in a home where there is a dog that is bigger than he is.  He was just neutered so we are believing that he will calm down around other dogs…for now, he is amusing == loves his toys and LOVES his walks!  He is the best meet and greet dog….just happy as he can be.  He is doing great with his potty training, but of course we never guarantee.  Zeus wants to please….but sometimes he has to be reminded, as he is very smart but also very distracted by the curious world around him!!  He could even be your hiking and/or running partner.  Not too fluffy for you men out there!!  Who has an active lifestyle for Zeus!
