MEET YONNY & ZOOMY….and yes, believe it or not they are brothers!!  This gorgeous, 12 lb, 1 yr old boy, is a tawny brindle and is actually known to be a Shih Tzu, Poodle mix.  If we saw him in the shelter, we would have thought him to be a Havanese….but his mother was a Shih Tzu, his father a poodle…and Zoomy is his brother!!  He and Zoomy came from a home that bred their two dogs and gave the puppies to family….but these two boys stayed behind with the elderly grandmother.  In a short period of time, she decided that they were “too active” for her liking.  DUH.  Puppies are a lot of fun, but they require training.  Yonny is as adorable, playful, loving, sweet and happy as he looks!  But, when he first arrived, he injested something he wasn’t supposed to and gave us the scare of our lives!  Now, he is feeling 100% back to normal and playing tug-o-war like a puppy should!!  He is a kissy lover and toys are his life!!  He can be a little withdrawn at first, and hide behind your couch or under a bed…but once he knows you and feels comfortable, expect him to be wherever you are!!  Yonny MUST go to a home with another dog, his brother Zoomy is part of the package!   They would be wonderful with kids over 8 yrs old….he is getting the hang of potty training, but he will need consistency and patience.  Training is always the key to a well behaved dog!  Yonny is a keeper….if you are looking for a special pair of small dogs, and you have a home with kids over 8 yrs old…look no more!!
