MEET YOKO….and she is the tiniest, full grown pup we have ever rescued.  This 2.9 lb, 12 yr old, silver/gold, Yorkshire Terrier has a sad story to tell.  She and her brother lived with a family all their lives, but a divorce caused her human to rehome her brother.  Left behind, six months later, it was Yoko’s turn to go :((.  Better for Yoko, as because of a lack of finances, her human did not take very good care of her and we’re sure she was bred.  Her teeth were rotten (which caused her jaw to break), she had benign mammary tumors and she is so thin, we’re working on plumping her up.  BUT…it hasn’t stopped Yoko for a second!  She has pep to her step, she is now a happy girl and she just wants to belong.  She may only have two teeth, but she sure can go to town on her (soft) food!  She is quiet as a mouse, gives kisses, loves to be with you in a pouch or on your lap and she is loving and easy going.  Yoko was never really trained, but she is getting the hang of pp pads.  That being said, she goes where she goes!  Carpet would not be a good plan for her!  Although how much pee can a 2.9 lb dog have!  Yorkies live long lives and we could not let Yoko be left behind.  She is good with other dogs, kids, all people — but we are looking for a home where she will be a pocket pooch and go everywhere with you.  Her foster is in film and Yoko is the queen of the set — she has stolen everyone’s heart.  Is your heart available?  What about your home?  Yoko wants to come home with you!
