MEET WHIMSEY…one of the most whimsical dogs you will ever meet! This little apricot, 8 lb, 2-3 yr old, Shih Tzu/Poodle mix is one bundle of energy! She came from the SEAACA shelter, so matted, you could not see her face!

It is plain to see in these pictures that her coat is still a little rough around the edges — at least the part that wasn’t shaved off! When Whimsey arrived, she was very frenetic…had never been held, caressed or shown any love. Clearly, neglect is a form of abuse, and this girl is now learning what being loved is all about. Once she settles down, she is happy to lay in your arms and be loved. She will wrap her legs around your arm and hold on for dear life, while she is kissing your face from cheek to cheek! Whimsey loves kids and would be great as a family dog! She is also great with other dogs and does not like being left alone. She will need a little work on her training, but she is smart and just needs a home with patience and time to devote to her. Whimsey is a happy spirit who will make you smile, as she runs around your house and dances (literally) into your heart. Do you have a little extra space and a lot of extra love to give?
