THIS IS WALTER….and he is a lucky Lhasa if i ever met one!  This 15 lb, tan/white, 4 yr old, Lhasa Apso was hit by a car, left for dead, with a severely fractured pelvis and a broken femur.  Fortunately, a good Samaritan found him and took him to one shelter, who told them he needed to go the Hawthorne SPCA. They could not treat him and asked that we take him….done!  Walter has been recuperating at his wonderful foster’s house, and now he is ready for adoption.  He LOVES TOYS…and is very playful, but he does not enjoy chaos.   He picks and chooses his besties, so we think it would be best for him to be your one and only. He has a lot of energy, gives lots of kisses and the only thing we can say is he cannot be left alone all day.   He does get bonded to his people, sometimes possessive, so he will need training…but he is a wonderful boy.  He’s rather be in action than on your lap…so an active family, who will exercise him, would be what he needs!  Kids over 8 yrs old would be fine.  To sum it up?  Walter loves to be pet, play with his toys, give lots of kisses and lay next to you. He can be vocal…when playing and to alert you…so apartment living likely would not be the best for him.  He’s a lover and a great companion…isn’t that what you need?
