MEET VIDA…..and “vida” means life in Spanish….and this 9 lb, tan w/ silver tips, ~1 yr Shih Tzu Yorkie mix (?), is full of life!  Found in the middle of the street in a poor area of town, wearing a mud pack head to tail, the person who found her was not fond of dogs and would not bring her into her home!  Friends did due diligence in trying to locate her home, but were unsuccessful and Vida had no place to live.  So, when they called Lhasa Happy Homes and we heard Vida’s story, we agreed to take her.  At first, she was petrified…and we totally understand based on what she has already been thru in her short life.  We just had her spayed and she is happy, outgoing, loving and kissy!  She takes a minute to warm up and is still a little skittish on the street…but she wants to please.  We thought that she could be in a home where there isn’t another dog BUT after having her a little while longer, we have learned she does need canine socialization and companionship.  Dog’s personalities change and the longer Vida is with us, the more outgoing she has become.  She is a true lover!  Kids over 12 yrs old would be welcomed. Vida has a love for life and we want to see her forever happily ever after.  Is that with you?

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
