THIS IS VELVET….and OMG is it hard to take pictures of black dogs!!  These pictures don’t do her any justice.  This little 13 lb, long bodied, soft coated black Terrier mix was ID’d by a vet as a Lhasa Apso when she was found on the streets of Downtown Los Angeles.  Asked if we would take her, we said yes and Velvet was who showed up!  Just one look in her eyes and you will agree a sweeter dog you could not find!  Velvet is very very active, loves to play with other dogs, she is loving and wants to be with you wherever you go in the house… another shadow!  She is learning to use the pp pads and outside to do her business…she is learning to walk on a leash…she can be timid for about 30 seconds and then regains her confidence!  Remember, she is young and has had a rough start in life, so she needs training.  But she is smart and wants to please and couldn’t have a better temperament.  If you want lots of kisses and a puppy who is smart and simply needs direction…Velvet is your girl.  She is very human and dog oriented — she sleeps with her foster buddy at night (she would prefer your bed)!  Velvet will be a wonderful companion, she is good with kids  and would make a great second dog in a family.  If you are looking to provide a wonderful home for a wonderful dog….here she is, waiting for you!!  Velvet is available now.

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
