THIS IS TINKER….a petite, sweet, gray/white, 6 yr old Shih Tzu mix, who has had a very hard life.  She was dumped in the Downey Shelter — but not before she had been hit by a car weeks prior.  By the time we learned she had a fractured pelvis and a broken femur, her healing was too far along to do surgery. We were concerned when we put her on a leash and she was very resistant to walk.  We had her xray’d and lo and behold, fractures.  That being said, Tink, as she is known to those who love her, is a survivor!  She hops like a bunny sometimes and she loves to run; albeit she is still a bit cautious on the leash, she is getting better and better.  She also injured her eye, which has healed and she sees just fine!  Tink’s favorite thing to do is be with you.  She loves to cuddle and snuggle.  She could go into almost any home, but we don’t really think she would be the right dog for kids — only because she likes to play but she’d rather “relax.”  She would be fine in a mature home — she is healthy and has many years ahead of her.  Would you love Tinker to spend them with you?
