THIS IS SULLY….a true hero.  This tri colored, 12 lb, 3 yr old Shih Tzu came to Lhasa Happy Homes when his owner dumped him in the shelter with a broken jaw!!  We could not say no to him!  His foster describes him as “perfection!”   The shelter sent him to a private vet, who completely messed up his jaw surgery.  They put a plate in, but it was too big for his mouth and it was causing issues!  Our vet attempted to repair it but it did not heal.  So, we took him to a doggie dentist and fixed it!  At no time during his “reconstruction” was he difficult.  In fact, he tries to chew on bones!  He has a crooked jaw, but it works fine.  He is a great eater, although he is on soft food and should eat a combo of wet/dry.  He loves to ride in the car, play with the other dogs and he is great with children.  He also loves other dogs and loves to engage!  His forever home must include another small, playful dog.  Sully loves his walks and seems to be trained, but we never guarantee at your house!  He is a great all around dog….he doesn’t play with toys, but we haven’t let him because of his jaw…but he does love to give sloppy kisses!  He is mellow, but playful; a little willful but wants to please.  He is a great dog AND HE EVEN LIKES CATS!!!  Is this a boy you could love?
