THIS IS SULLY….a true hero.  This tri colored, 12 lb, 3 yr old Shih Tzu came to Lhasa Happy Homes when his owner dumped him in the shelter with a broken jaw!!  We could not say no to him!  His foster describes him as “perfection!”   The shelter sent him to a private vet, who completely messed up his jaw surgery.  They put a plate in, but didn’t secure the plate!  Our vet attempted to repair it but it did not heal.  So, we are taking him to a doggie dentist and he will fix him up!  At no time during his “reconstruction” was he difficult.  In fact, he tries to chew on bones!  Not until you are healed, buddy! He is a great eater, although he is currently on soft food.  He loves to ride in the car, play with the other dogs and he is great with children.  He also loves other dogs and loves to engage!  His forever home must include another small, playful dog.  Sully loves his walks and seems to be trained, but we never guarantee at your house!  He is a great all around dog….he doesn’t play with toys, but we haven’t let him because of his jaw…but he does love to give sloppy kisses!  He is mellow, but playful; a little willful but wants to please.  He is a great dog AND HE EVEN LIKES CATS!!!  Is this a boy you could love?  He won’t be available until mid-October.  We are accepting applications now.
