MEET STRUDEL…and we had to call her that because she is so sweet!  This little tri colored, 11 lb, 5 yr old, Shih Tzu came from a hoarding situation where she was one of 7+ dogs.  Sadly, the owner abandoned them when she was evicted and we have little information about them.

Strudel is very affectionate chow hound and, as you can see, she LOVES CATS!!  She likes cats more than dogs!  She can be very protective of her food — after all, based on the condition the dogs were found in, she had to fight for it!  Also, she wants her human(s) all to herself we have learned, as she probably had to wiggle in for food and attention 🙁  We think she would love kids 5+ to fun around with.  She is healthy, but it’s obvious that she wasn’t walked because her muscle mass is shallow.  Now, she loves running on the grass and doing her biz outside.   That being said, she is not potty trained and because of her physical condition being a bit uncoordinated (no physical reason given) sometimes she will go when she has to go!   Strudel can be independent and would be okay a couple hours alone, but when you are home, she is by your side!  We will not be placing her in a senior home only because we want to get her into shape, so she needs activity.  Strudel is loving and all she needs is a cat, a family, food and some toys to keep her happy!!  Can you provide?
