SNOOKIE…formerly “Cookie” whose story is a little sad.  This 7 yr old, gray/white, 14 lb, Shih Tzu, is missing her human mom, but adapting very well.  Her human is on life support and the family decided Snookie and her two kids (believe it or not Freddie and Pinky), all needed to find new homes.  They called LHH and they are now here with us!

This little angel is perfection.  She can go to a home where there is no other dog…but she will need extra love and attention because she is used to having her two kids.  While they weren’t really bonded, she was a bit of a caretaker.  She is loaded with kisses and came to us like she had always lived here.  She did have a huge umbilical hernia, so that was repaired and soon, she will be good as new.  

Snookie’s favorite position is perching on your couch back or on your lap.  That being said, she can be independent but prefers washing your face with her tongue!  She is very animated, playful and she loves toys. She is quiet as a mouse most of the time and very well mannered.  While she seems to be potty trained, she will use a pp pad if needed.

We believe the best home for Snookie would be one where she gets a lot of attention and goes with you everywhere, especially if you don’t have another dog.  She really exudes joyfulness and will perk you up.  We do not think she would be in a sedate, mature home.  She has a lot of life left in her and she wants to show you.  She is great in the car, on walks and on your lap.  Snookie is a keeper.
