MEET SCOUT….and even with her crew cut, she is an adorable, tan/white w/ black tips, 8-9 yr old, 10 lb Shih Tzu, who came from Baldwin Park Shelter.  Her mama is goo goo over her; dad, not so much.  Unfortunately, in an effort to keep the peace, mama is reluctantly giving up Scout after two weeks in her home.  She wants her to have a happy life — and this little girl has lots of life left in her!  Please don’t pass her by because of her age!!   She loves to zoom around the house and explore.  And….look at those bedroom brown eyes — which come with kisses galore!  Scout must have been “scouting” because she was a terrible mess when she arrived at the shelter.  They shaved her — but hair grows back!  She has pep to her step and adapts well and quickly.  She is good with everyone — dogs, cats, even grumpy husbands!!  Her mama says she is sooooo well behaved, she even seems potty trained, but we never guarantee!  Even though she would be okay alone a few hours a day, she loves other dogs and probably would love the companionship — especially if YOU are gone.  We can’t say enough positive things about this little girl…can’t think of anything negative!  She is in good health…recent dental…all she needs now is love.  Do you have love to give her?  Let us know!
