THIS IS SAKE….formerly “X-Man” and he is drunk with happiness!  This gorgeous, charcoal/white, 16 lb, 2 yr old Shih Tzu Lhasa mix has had a difficult life.  It seems that he was brought into a home that decided they couldn’t care for him and then given to a family member who was able to take him but put him in the backyard 🙁  They decided to give him up when they got pregnant, so we said of course we would take him.  He was scared to death when he arrived and now he is playing with his canine foster roommate and living a real life! He was soooo matted, his coat was like cotton candy…but now, he has had his makeover and he is so handsome and sweet.  LOVES toys, LOVES other dogs (but can be timid at first), LOVES to play…he will need some training on the leash as he probably never had been and now he likes to walk in circles just to tangle you up!  VERY curious.  Believe it or not, his potty training skills seem to be okay, as he goes immediately after going outside….but no guarantees at your house! Sake could use some socialization and then he will be a bigger joy than he is now!  He definitely needs another dog in the home for him to play with and to show him the ropes. This is a wonderful dog who is as sweet as he can be. We would say okay with kids over 10 yrs old.  Everyone could use a little “sake” now and then or always, eh?  He’s ready when you are.

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
