THIS IS RUGBY…..and he is one lucky dog!  This absolutely adorable, tri colored, 6 yr old, 11 lb, Shih Tzu, has the energy of a puppy!  He was found on the streets without any ID — no collar, no microchip — intact.  The person who found him couldn’t keep him and was unsuccessful in finding his home.  So, they contacted Lhasa Happy Homes…and we agreed to take him.  Rugby is a lover, kisser and very well mannered dog.  He only has one weakness, and that WAS his sight, which WAS diminished because of cataracts.  We took Rugby to an eye specialist to see if he could have successful cataract surgery….and he had it and HE CAN SEE!!!  Either way, Rugby rolls with the flow just like a regular, happy dog!  But our philosophy is he landed in our care for some reason, and he still has a lot of life in him….why not provide the best possible care?!!  He seems to be potty trained, although we never guarantee; great on the pp pads too.  The ideal home for him would be one with a family who can spend 99% of their time with him….he’s wonderful in the car and sits at your feet in an outdoor cafe.  This is a wonderful boy…!  We love him and he may be special needs — he may need drops in his eyes for a while… but he is special, indeed!

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
