THIS IS ROXANA….a precious, gold/white with black tips, 12 lb, 8 yr old, Shih Tzu Lhasa Mix, who came from the Carson Shelter with crusty eyes.  She didn’t get adopted because they said she was potentially blind, but our vet disagrees!  She does have dry eye, so she will need drops for the rest of her life, and she is a bit sight challenged, but she doesn’t bump into things and our foster says she can see some, maybe shadows or more.  Her eyes are not cloudy, they are bright and brown! Roxana is a silly girl who loves to express her glee by rolling on the floor and letting you know how happy she is! From time to time she will play with the other dogs, but mostly, she just loves being with you….but is not “needy.”   She will dance around when you scratch her and loves her belly rubbed!

She also has an odd habit, where she falls asleep and wakes up like she has seen a ghost!  Our vet says she probably sleeps with her eyes open and gets startled.  It’s almost like she is possessed!!  But she is such a darling the rest of the time — but for this reason, we think she’d be better off without kids.  She truly doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body!   Roxana would love to live in a mature home where she will be doted on and loved to life. She seems to be potty trained thru a doggie door….and she is quiet as a mouse.  She is mild mannered, easy going and just a kissy lovebug!  Is there room on your lap and in your life for Roxana?
