MEET RODNEY…he’s a real looker and has the best personality ever!  And look at that underbite!!  This 21.5 lb (big boy), sable colored, 7 yr old Lhasa Apso is awesome!  He came to us from San Diego Humane, when another rescue had an emergency and could not take care of him…so LHH to the rescue’s rescue!  Rodney has to be one of the nicest Lhasa we have ever had (the shelter thought he was a Shih Tzu/Maltese HA!)  He is quiet, well behaved and seems to be potty trained (but we never guarantee).  Poor baby had a growth on his left eyelid and a cyst on his lower right eye…all done, but his hair had to be shaved a little 🙁  These are the before pictures but hair grows back fast!  He also has a low thyroid, which requires daily med (inexpensive) and otherwise very healthy!  Rodney could go to almost any home — he can even tolerate being alone for a few hours.  However, he loves other dogs and they love him!  Big, little, medium…he’s very flexible!  He’s also a toy boy…likes to amuse himself!  He would be good with kids over 8 yrs old, and he would love a family.  We are not sure what happened to his family, but we believe he was definitely loved and cared for.  He is a great boy!  Do you have a place in your heart and your home for Rodney?  He’s available now.
