MEET RHIANNA….and her start at life was not a good one 🙁  This tiny, 7 lb, black/white, 1-2 yr old, Shih Tzu Terrier X (she sheds a little), came to us from the East Valley Shelter with Hepatitis.  She was very jaundices, her eyes dry from infection, URI and our vet feared distemper.  Luckily, she did not have distemper, but she did have microplasma, hepatitis and both her eyes were infected.  The first picture is what she will look like — but beneath those curls were solid mats, so she had to have a haircut.  Hair grows!!  Cut to:  two months later….Rhianna’s fun loving affectionate spirit has returned!  She loves to eat, she will follow you everywhere, she is affectionate and loves people!  She loves anyone who loves her back.  She is very smart and listens when corrected!  She LOVES toys…especially when a ball is thrown….she’ll bring it back but tease you with it and not give it back to you!  She is doing her business on the PP pads….may have an accident from time to time, prefers this to doing her business on a walk.  So, a safe yard would be ideal for her.  However, she LOVES her walks!!  She loves to sleep on your pillow so if you won’t allow her on the bed with you…..she’s not the right fit!  She is a cuddle bunny!!!  Rhianna can easily amuse herself…she would be fine with another dog (or cat) but she’d be just as happy with you!  Does this sound like a dog you could love??
