THIS IS REMBRANDT….he is a happy, active, extremely playful 1 yr old Lhasa puppy, with a gorgeous coat that looks like it has been painted on.  If you are looking for a calm, lap dog….this ain’t the right fit!  When we took him out of the South Central Shelter, they told us to go slow with him, that he was very scared.  OMG….the second we got him out of there he was almost licking me to life!!  Rembrandt will need a course in manners, as he currently likes to redecorate everything in his room — Pillows, blanket, toys, you name it.  BUT — this boy does want to please and when you tell him no, he knows.  He would best in a family with older kids who will play with him….and another canine….who he can run around with, exercise and play with.  If we were to guess, we’d think that he could have been a show puppy (he prances like a champion) but he had an undescended  testicle (has been fully neutered now). Perhaps he was owned by a more mature couple who could not handle his energy.  Whatever the case, their loss is your gain!  Rembrandt still has that puppy teething/play biting going on, so kids over 8 would be best.  Do you have a place in your heart and home for Rembrant?  He will color up your life!!
