MEET BABY REGGIE!  Reggie is an absolutely precious, 2.5-lb (about 7 lbs at maturity), 14-week-old (DOB 8/18/16), tricolor Shih Tzu who was purchased from a breeder by a woman for her 80-year-old mother.  While the woman was at her mother’s house, she noticed that Reggie was limping.  She took him to a vet, who told her that he had neurological issues.  She decided that that would too much to deal with, so she contacted us, threatening to have him put to sleep.  “Absolutely not!” we said, “bring him to Lhasa Happy Homes!”  A short trip to our vet later, and it turns out that Reggie just had a broken leg!

Reggie is a typical, playful puppy…  You’d never know that his leg was broken!  He loves playing with toys and other dogs!  He has razor-sharp teeth and likes to chew on fingers and toes. He MUST go to a home with another small, playful dog who can show him the ropes of being a dog.  His foster family is working with him on his potty training — but being a baby, he can’t hold it for long!  He was the runt of his litter, and we think he won’t weigh more than 7lbs at full growth.

Reggie will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract including a $200 deposit, to be refunded upon submission of neuter certificate.  He will be healthy and available for adoption on 12/11/16.  Reggie will be adopted in the Los Angeles area only.
