**PENDING ADOPTION!!**

MEET OUR LITTLE MISS QUEENIE…a precious, charcoal and white, 6.13 lbs (underweight), senior Shih Tzu girl, who was dumped in the shelter right before Xmas.  People can be so cruel!  In this case, we are grateful they no longer are caring for her because her toenails were embedded in her peds, she had seriously dry eye (which must have been painful), she’s a bit on the hard of hearing side but she loves to be held.  We couldn’t let her stay there for Christmas, so she came to LHH and has been eating like a chow hound and she sleeps like a baby.

Believe it or not, she had a dental and she only lost 3 teeth!  We had her spayed and did bloodwork and it was all normal.  She came thru like a champ! Her eyes were so bad it was hard to tell her age, so our vet is just guessing…but we want whomever adopts her to know what they are getting!  We think she has several years ahead of her!  She needs eye medication for the rest of her life and arms to hold and love her!  Queenie just wants to be loved…and she really is an easy dog.  Her potty training skills are not great, but she does hit the pp pads!  She is small enough to carry in a “love sack” they use for infants!  She doesn’t need another dog…she just needs you!  Do you have a little space in your heart and home for this sweetheart?  If you want to really help a dog, she needs you!  **New pictures coming 🙂
