MEET PHANTOM…an adorable, precocious, velvet black, 10 lb, 7 month old (DOB 6/1/2022) poodly mix, probably with a cocker mix…who couldn’t be sweeter if he were a pound of chocolate candy!  Both his parents are mixes, so it’s hard to say his breed! It’s really hard to take pictures of black dogs, but he is an absolute cutie pie!

Sadly, he was nervous at his original home (where he was born) and nipped at his human…probably only puppy nipping…but the owner couldn’t handle him.  However, he has been a perfect gentleman with us, and he is friendly with everyone — young and old.  He is so cuddly, loves to just lay his face on yours…play with whomever will play with him and be a puppy!  Learning how to play with toys — he chases after them then doesn’t know what to do with them!  Phantom always uses the PP pads to do his business and is starting to do it outside!  

Unfortunately, Phantom had not received any vaccinations when he arrived, so we have been taking care of that and getting him neutered to be ready to go to his forever home!  Now that that is all done, come January, this little Ewok will be ready to go home!

Phantom should go to a home where there is another, young, small playful dog for him to show him the ropes and play with him.  He is extremely smart…learned to walk on a leash in 30 minutes, up and down the stairs in two days and he is just beginning to give little kisses to show his appreciation!  

If you have the time and energy, have an active home with kids over 8 yrs old and the patience for a puppy…Phantom might be your guy!  Accepting applications now.  He will be available on January 8.
