PELUCHE….which means “fluff” is a very spirited, white/gold, 13 lb, 3-4 yr old Lhasa Apso.  He was stuck at the South Central Shelter, ready to go, but nobody came, so we decided to pull him out of there….with no medical issues!!  He did get kennel cough, but this boy is healthy as a horse besides a cold!!  Peluche needs training on a leash, as he loves to pull…and he is very strong.  He loves his toys, he is very interested in his foster buddy, Hampton, but we can tell he is bored and needs dogs to play with him — so a dog in his new home will be a must!  So far, he is very quiet…but we can’t guarantee at your house!  He will likely need a refresher course in potty training, but he wants to please and is very smart.  As active as Peluche is, when you cradle him and give him a belly rub, he is yours!!  This is a wonderful, happy dog….he would be great in any home with a dog and a human who can keep up with him!  This is your hiking buddy, so come and get him!  He would be a little active for a senior home, so that probably would not be a fit for him. 🙁  Do you have any room in your home and your heart for Peluche and his underbite?  They’re waiting for you!
