MEET OZZY….and he is definitely a rock star!  This diminutive, 7 lb, 10 month old (DOB 12/2014), tan/black, Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix is a high octane puppy….as all puppies are!  How he got stuck at the South Central Shelter and not immediately adopted, we cannot explain.  Rescue cannot take a dog from a city shelter before they have been available a full weekend…but there he sat, waiting to get busted out! Ozzy loves to play, play and play some more!  Whether it is with you, his foster buddies or toys, he is a puppy thru and thru.  He seems to be learning where to do his business, but he will need some direction. Ozzy is smart and just needs to learn some manners!  While he does walk on a leash, you will ask yourself, who’s walking who?!  Training will correct this!  Any time you adopt or get a young dog, they need to be taught the ropes; they don’t come with a manual.  It is so rewarding to watch them blossom and Ozzy is friendly to all, loving, and a happy dog.  He is not a barker that we have seen…or heard…but he is busy.  The best home will be one that will have another dog, possibly kids over 8 yrs old and active. Ozzy is active!  Does that describe your household?  He won’t last long!
