MEET OZZIE….and he didn’t come from the Emerald City, but he is a Whiz!!  This little 9 lb, gold/tan, 5 yr old, Shih Tzu, is a cuddle bug and full of love and snuggles, despite what he has been thru.  Found in Riverside, he came into the shelter loaded with foxtails…everywhere!!  Once we took care of getting them out and he had his makeover, he became even more loving and happy!  We think he was kept as an outside dog because he is relearning potty training….but his foster mom claims he is very smart and could have a future as an interior decorator!  Ozzie might be tiny…but he is mighty!  He didn’t like where his dog bed was, so he dragged it across the room and put it where he wanted it!  He didn’t like where his dad put his sneakers, so he moved them too!  He also likes the biggest toy in the toy box, he wants you to know he is no wuss!!  This boy is a character and will keep you laughing all day long!  The ideal home for Ozzie will be one where he is the center of attention and very much could be the only dog…but ONLY if you are not going to leave him alone more than a couple of hours a day or take him with you.  He could go to a home with or without another dog, but he is not one to engage…except with you!  He also favors women to men, but he is good with everyone, just takes him a little time.  Ozzie is also good with kids…over 5 yrs old, please!  If you have a home and heart for Ozzie, he will be available June 10.
