NEEDS A HOME WITH ANOTHER SMALL, ACTIVE DOG AND A YARD PREFERED (not essential)

MEET OSCAR….a 4 yr old, 19 lb, gray/white, Lhasa Apso, who originally came from Inland Valley Humane (10/2019), who aged him at 6 yrs old.  Shelters make this mistake all the time.  He has way too much energy for a 6 yr old!  His pet Dad had an arrangement with his parents to take care of Oscar while he worked long hours — but when they found him too active for their lifestyle and couldn’t take care of him.  Oscar’s Dad didn’t want him left alone all day, so he felt the best thing was to rehome him.  Oscar is a happy and loving dog and, like the Lhasa breed, is mildly protective.  He just doesn’t like strangers messing with his food when he is eating.  Do you?  So, he would not be an option for a family with young children (minimum 12+ if they can stay away from his food!).  He is very social and loves long walks, people, attention and toys!  He was potty trained at his Dad’s house but was having accidents at his parents, but he either goes outside or on PP pads now.  He is a cuddle buddy, very affectionate and adorable.  Oscar would be a wonderful addition to any home and deserves patience.  Another dog in the home, a yard and not being left all day are what he needs.  Lhasa are incredibly loyal and love and attention and will return love 10000x over!  Oscar is ready, willing and waiting for you!
