MEET OREO….and we’re not exactly sure what his story is, but this is what we do know.  His owners no longer wanted this amazingly sweet, b/w, 14 lb, 3-4 yr old Havanese mix (as best as we can tell).  They said he kept escaping…but we think they kept him outside because he is thrilled to be in a home.  He has never tried to escape.  He was out a month before the Dream Fetchers caught him and brought him to us, and he happily went with them, knowing a good home was in his future!  He is a velcro dog, loves to sit by you in the car if you are driving or sitting in the back seat by you!  He is gentle, quiet, playful, happy to be loved.  He came to us with an abrasion on his lip that had to be painful, which we think he got from chewing on a plastic bowl or the like.  We got him neutered, up to date on his shots, microchipped and groomed…. and he has been an angel.  Oreo has had a tough life and for the most part, he is an angel.  He will need a refresher course on potty training, but he is smart and wants to please.   Oreo likes other dogs but he could go to a home with or without another dog…as long as he has a human companion to be with him a lot of the time.  No, he doesn’t have separation anxiety…but he craves and should have a loving family.  Does that sound like you?  Kids over 10 yrs old would be great.
