MEET ORCHID….and if you love the classic, smushy face of the Shih Tzu breed, this is your girl.  This angel is white with a gray/tan chevron marking on her back, approximately 6-7 yrs old and 11 lbs.  A happier, sweeter, cuddlier, affectionate pup you will not meet!  Orchid was overlooked at the shelter because she was a matted mess….but what a difference a makeover makes!!

She loves to give you kisses, loves to play with you and is just a happy girl.  She loves to go for walks, is super in the car and gets so excited when she greets you!  We have yet to hear Orchid bark….except when she is left alone without another dog or a person to share her time with (but she does settle down).  She doesn’t have the typical separation anxiety, but when her pack leader leaves, she does get anxious.  So, it would be best for her to go to a family where she is rarely left behiind.  Orchid has also become extremely playful with her foster buddies — especially when it comes to running around the backyard!  Her foster mom says she really does need to go to a home where there is another dog or two!!  She truly loves canine companionship and people.  She is a very human oriented dog, but nobody can be home 24/7!! Orchid is the type of pup you could take everywhere with you.  She is well behaved, seems to be potty trained (but no guarantees) and aims to please.  Orchid becomes a noodle in your arms when you cuddle with her…and she LOVES belly rubs (what dog doesn’t?)  Kids over 8 yrs old welcomed and a family to dote on her and a small canine buddy is what she needs!  If you have a home for Orchid to blossom in….come and get her!
