THIS IS OPIE….and when he came from the San Bernardino Shelter, he looked like a 10 yr old dog!  This adorable, charcoal and white, 3-4 yr old, 10 lb Shih Tzu was a mess and has typical Shih Tzu teeth (like rice thown in his mouth!!). While he is missing some teeth, the ones he has are white, his eyes are bright and he is an active little cutie pie!  He was quite shut down when he arrived and hid behind furniture at first — now he wags his tail like there’s no tomorrow and just wants to be your pal and you his!  Opie will definitely need a canine pal to snuggle with and be a companion to.  He would not fare well in a senior home as he is a bit too active and needs a home where he will be exercised and go on walks with (he is getting used to the leash).  Opie is a fantastic boy, just starting to give kisses and learn what it’s like to have a happy home.  Can you provide one for him?  He’s waiting!
