MEET MISS ONYX!!  OK….no, she is not a Lhasa, Maltese or Shih Tzu and she probably isn’t hypoallergenic (doesn’t seem to shed tho).  But this absolutely precious 6 yr old, 13 lb, black/gray,  Doxie/Terrier/ Poodle, is sugar personified!  From the minute she walked into my house, she jumped on the couch and right on my lap before we were even introduced!  She came from the home of a first responder nurse who had to go back to work and did not have time for her.  We didn’t think it was fair for Onyx to spend all day in a crate and neither did her person, so she entrusted her to us.  I mean, how often does LHH get a dog who doesn’t have any medical, behavioral or injury…and she is 85% potty trained to boot?  She is actually pretty good but she does use PP pads when she can’t get out.  Be prepared though, she is a TOY MAVEN!!  I have never seen a dog go so crazy for toys!  She is so adorable — she will sit on her hind legs like a squirrel and rub her nose!  SO CUTE!  Onyx is a turn-key lady who just wants to turn herself into your lapdog!  There is always a catch — Onyx does NOT like being left alone.  She will need to meet her “sibling” but she doesn’t have to have another dog (might prefer). But, she does need you.  A home vs. an apartment would be best even though 99% of the time she is quiet as a mouse!  It isn’t often that LHH gets a dog like this…maybe not a fluff but she will fluff up your heart!
