THIS IS OLIVE….and she is a beautiful, tan/white, 7 yr old, 15 lb Lhasa/Tzu (we think more Lhasa than Tzu), who originally came from a shelter and is now being surrendered by her owner.  Olive is a great little girl, but seems to want to be the center of attention in a home where she is presently with kids and other dogs.  She is shy of new people initially, but once she is comfortable in your pack, she is very loving.  She likes cats and has been known to warm up to other dogs but generally isn’t a fan.  She is okay with children but would do best in a home where she only child.   She is not aggressive and has never bitten.  Olive lives for comfort!   She loves finding the most comfortable spot and curling up.  She likes walks and running in the park but isn’t particularly high energy. She will chase a ball but won’t bring it back! She loves the beach and park and will run run run!  She is a good balance because she also loves to snuggle and get belly rubs (what Lhasa doesn’t?), being with her people and is good in the car.   Very important for Olive is routine.  Sometimes it takes a minute to adjust, but once she knows what it is, she is very reliable.  Until she knows the routine she may have some anxiety about you leaving her alone.  Finally, she is an excellent “guard dog” and will let you know if anyone is there who (should) or shouldn’t be!!!  Olive just needs a home to love her as she is and never let her go!!
