THIS IS OLIVE….and she is one affectionate girl!  At 5 yrs old, this 15 lb Poodle mix is white and full of love.  We were told she came in with long hair, but they shaved her before we could see her.  We are sure she was probably matted to the bone, poor baby.  Now, her hair is growing out and she is a stunner and ready for her forever home.

Her story is sad, I am sorry to say.  The shelter advised us, after the fact, that the Spay Neuter clinic pulled five large puppies out of her when they spayed her!  It’s clear she was close to delivering because she had milk  ;(  We never knew she was pregnant.  We would never have done this so late in her pregnancy.  <tears>

That being said, Olive bounced back like a trooper!  She is kissy, happy, active and loving.  She craves attention and loves to be caressed and cuddled.  She likes to climb into you like you are a martini and soak up the love!   Despite what has happened to her, she is a happy, loving girl who loves everyone.  Everyone except other dogs…she wants to be your one and only.

Olive is great on walks and seems to do her business as she should or on a PP pad.  Foster says she is doing fantastic with her potty training but no guarantees!!  What we have learned about her is she is okay going into a home where there already is a dog, but she is not good with dogs in general.  In other words, she really doesn’t want to live with one!  For this reason, we are not bringing her to adoptions but showing her by appointment only.  If you are interested, please complete the application and we can set something up for you to meet.   She would be great with kids over 8 yrs old.  Does she sound like a furball you could love??    She is available now.
