MEET OBI-WAN….and he’s a lover, not a fighter.  This, scrumptious, caramel, 3 yr old, 15 lb, Lhasa Apso came to us from the West Valley Shelter, after being rescued from the street by a good Samaritan.  He was terrified, like they all are, and a bit apprehensive, but Obi-Wan has since gotten rave reviews from the groomer and the vet as being a super friendly dog!   When he arrived, he wasn’t feeling well as he had kennel cough and diarrhea.  We thought he had a parasite, but he checked out all clear!!  He has since recovered and his true, happy, loving personality has come out in full bloom!

If you love the breed, Obi-Wan will make you smile.  He is gregarious and outgoing…loves to go on walks and check out the scenery.   He is loyal to his person we can already tell —  he is a bit wary of bigger dogs and can be a little bossy with the little ones…but there is no question that he would like to have a companion because he doesn’t love being left behind.  We believe he would be better with female than male pups, as he is a little “too” interested!  We have not seen any aggression from him, but we are still trying to figure out his preferences…he may just be picky about his friends but we will make sure to make the right match!  

If you don’t like kisses, Obi-Wan is not the right dog for you!! When we say he gives kisses, they are loving, strong and meaningful!  His coat is gorgeous and so is his heart.  You can’t find a better breed and he’s a great example.
