MEET NOVA… who is looking for life full of love.  She is a very sweet, gold/white, 12.8 lb, Shih Tzu Spaniel, as best we can tell.  Nova doesn’t shed much, but a little (probably not hypoallergenic)… and her coat is very soft 🙂  She was listed as 7 yrs old, because her teeth were a mess, so the people who were supposed to adopt her decided she was too old.  No way!  She definitely doesn’t act like an old dog!  We don’t think she is 7 or even 6…but we don’t like to underage our dogs.  Six it is!

Nova is no where near ready to retire!  She loves, loves, loves her walks, other dogs and even cats!  She almost runs on her walks to meet other dogs, but she doesn’t play with them (just loves the companionship).  She would not be a fit for a senior or sedate home.

Nova came into LHH like she had always lived here!  Same happened with her foster.  She is a bit of a whiner — but once she realized she was safe, she was quiet.  That being said, her foster reports she does like to whine when she wants something (or you)!

Unlike most of our rescues when they arrive, Nova is healthy and seems to have been loved in her life.  She is your shadow, will jump on your bed and sleep on your pillow and claim it as her own.  If you don’t like dogs getting under foot or following you around, she isn’t for you.  She was a bit of a picky eater, but when she got a taste of our homemade food, she was very happy!  While we never guarantee, she seems to be potty trained, but she has had an accident or two!  She’ll whine if she wants something, including going out.

The best home for this little lady would be one where there is someone around to dote on and love her to pieces.  She doesn’t need another dog or kids (but she would love a dog, cat and/or kids)…and of course you!  The family that gets this angel will be lucky…and so will she!

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
