Initially, Norton can be a bit reluctant or wary of what is around him.  After all, he’s got Lhasa in him and is there to protect you!  He can pull on the leash to get you to come with him to visit a dog on a walk to its owner on the street…and as soon as he gets close, after checking him/her out, he will give them kisses!  Yes, he is very friendly with other dogs, people and everyone around.  He is quite active and could knock a small child down, but never aggressively.  He’s a lover, not a hater!  Kids over 8 yrs old are welcomed.

The ideal home for Norton would be one where he gets a lot of attention.  We don’t know his past, but we can imagine that he didn’t get the amount of love and attention he deserved.  He would be great with older kids, a family who will take him with them when they attend sports events for the kids…not to mention a Sunday at the park or for brunch.  He’s all in!  Potty training is going well but no guarantees at your house!
