THIS IS NORMAN….lovingly referred to as “Stormy Normy.”  This little tan/gray, 15 lb, 11-12 yr old, Lhasa Apso/Tzu, was dumped in the Hesperia Shelter and they never looked back.  It is so sad how many of these seniors get dumped when they are no longer perfect 🙁  Norman isn’t perfect either…neither am I, but I’m still adoptable!  Norman would be ideal for someone who wants to help a senior dog have a second chance at a wonderful life.  Truly, he is a very easy dog!  Eats, sleeps, loves and poops!  When he arrived, his mouth was a mess — stinky and teeth falling out.  He lost 10 — but he still has more than 20!!  After his dental he was feeling so much better!  He had a few funky warts on his back, so we had them removed.  His hearing and his sight aren’t perfect, but not as bad as we first thought!  He never bumps into anything and he hears good, especially when it’s dinnertime.  He just wants a nice, soft bed to lay his head on.  The GOOD NEWS is…we think he is potty trained and he still squats to pee!  His foster got a puppy for Xmas and that messed Norman up badly.  We know he doesn’t like chaos.  He can get a little sensitive when you mess with the leash to take him for a walk..but as he gets to know you, he mellows out.  He has wonderful pep to his step!  Norman was a project — but he is doing so well, we believe he definitely is adoptable to a forever home….and we want to make sure he gets it!  He is not for the faint of heart, but he will give you 100% of his if you let him.  No children.  Seniors welcomed!
