MEET INKY…and yes, we know he isn’t a Lhasa (but we were told he was!)  Kind of looks like one 🙂   Doesn’t matter….he’s a cutie pie and sweet as he can be!  Not hypoallergenic but doesn’t shed much.   This velvet black, 17.5 lb, 4 yr old, Terrier Mix (need to do a DNA to know what his mix is) came to us via Hillandale, CA, where he was being kept outside in 27 degree weather.  The caretaker of the property asked if his friend wanted him and he did…and called us…and the rest is history! 

Inky craves attention.  He loves other dogs and definitely wants to have one of his own!  He is playful, likes toys, gives lots of kisses and is very smart.  He seems to do his business outside, but we never guarantee!  Inky is great in the car and just likes to be with you.  He does not like being left alone, and will bark, but he will settle down after a bit.  For this reason, we believe he would be best in a home, with another dog, and a yard, but never left without supervision.  He’s not an escape artist, but he just loves his people.  Kids over 8 yrs old would be great!  Training should be in Inky’s future, as he is very smart but he doesn’t really have perfect manners!!  Dogs are always better with training! 

Inky is too special to fall into the “black Terrier” category.  He is a wonderful dog and we don’t know why he hasn’t been adopted.  He really needs his own, loving home and BFF.  Is that with you? When he looks at your with his piercing brown eyes, you know he is listening!  If you love terriers, you will LOVE this boy!
