MEET NESSA…a loving 10.5-11 yr old, 12 lb, white Maltipoo, who came from the OC Animal Shelter and had no idea what she was doing there.  The shelter thought she was half that age — she doesn’t act like a senior!  We believe Nessa was very loved at one time and her owner either ran into hard times or passed.  She is definitely accustomed to being loved and spoiled, as she readily accepts and demands it from us!  Without question, her favorite thing is being caressed, cuddled and doted on!  She will “pose” against you while you are giving her a belly rub or loving on her.  She will follow you everywhere, give you little kisses to let you know she loves you and gratefully spend every waking minute in your presence!  She does not have separation anxiety and settles down nicely, but we believe she would rather be with you than alone!  If not you, then a companion (cat or dog) might be considered.  We’re not sure if she likes cats, but she seems to have the temperament for one!

When Nessa first arrived, she needed to adjust to being in a home where she is not the only dog.  She has to share the attention she receives with other fosters…and she is absolutely fine with it!  She loves playing with toys and races her foster roomie to get to them first — then shakes it furiously!  She hasn’t really fetched yet, but we’re working on it.  Little love, came to us with a cracked molar with an exposed root…but once it was repaired, she settled in nicely.  She also had a UTI, so poor baby was out of sorts to begin with.  That being said, she never had an accident (that we saw) — and seems to know where/when to go!

Nessa is a dollbaby and needs a home that will give her all the love and attention she deserves.   Is that yours??
