THIS IS NAOMI….a 10.5 lb, gray/black,2-3 yr old Shih Tzu mix, whose story is sad.  She was originally owned by a young woman, who decided she was too much responsibility, (as a puppy), who gave her to her grandmother, who was ill and aging.  This woman passed away and she ended up in a home for a year where she really wasn’t wanted, kept outside, even in the rain, and we said we would be happy to take her.  What they didn’t tell us is she suffers from a bit of separation anxiety. In the whole time they had her, they never took her to the vet!  She was intact, no vaccines and a matted mess 🙁  Now, she is a very happy and active puppy!  She was adopted to a wonderful home, but their lifestyle wasn’t conducive to giving her the parameters she needs to feel less anxious.  CBD oil would probably fix it her anxiety.  Naomi loves her walks, does her business, seems to be potty trained but does use PP pads inside.  She MUST go to a home where she is with another dog and a family who works from home and can work with her.  She doesn’t like being left alone…she does settle down but it takes her some time.  For this reason, probably a home with a yard is better for her than an apartment.   Naomi even still puppy nibbles when she gets excited and that is often!  Kids over 8 would be welcomed!  She has the funniest personality and she also loves to lay in your lap and get a belly rub.  She just needs stability — it’s no wonder she is anxious, she has been shuffled around and around.  She needs to feel secure!!!  If you are looking for a busy girl who will give you lots of love and kisses, Naomi is the one for you!
