MAGGIE IS PENDING ADOPTION AND WILL HOPEFULLY BE GOING HOME ON SUNDAY 😉

THIS IS MAGGIE….a lovely, 6.5 yr old, 18 lb, tri colored, Lhasa Apso with a sad story.  She was adopted from a breeder and the family didn’t really socialize her with people and other dogs.  They gave her to another family, who had her litter mate, who kept her for 1.5 yrs.  Her mom loves her to pieces, but her home is not the best for Maggie.  She is not getting along with her brother because she thinks she is #1 alpha and he’s not having it!  So her mom is giving her up so that Maggie can have a better life.  As you can see, she is adorable and is super sweet, loving and has a really cute personality.  She loves belly rubs, food and is definitely a lap dog. Maggie has the sweetest heart shaped marking on her left flank. She is an anxious little spirit who is overwhelmed with too much stimulation. She’s terrified of fireworks and gunshots. Maggie is a great little watch dog and patrols the home several times a night ensuring that all is well. She’s very persistent about meal times, and will let you know when she expects her breakfast or dinner!  She could lose a few pounds and she would love to go walking with you and get some exercise.  She is housebroken and will ring a bell on the door when she wants out. In her previous home, she was trained to use a doggy door.  She walks well on a leash and loves be to groomed.  The best home for Maggie would be a mature home that is calm and quiet but active — in an area where it is peaceful and tranquil.  She would be best in a home without children only because they tend to be frenetic in their actions and the stimulation causes Maggie to get anxious.  This is a wonderful dog who just wants to love and be loved.  Local homes only….she will not be adopted out of state, as we want to make sure that she is settled and in the right home for her.  She is not aggressive, she just has anxiety around too much stimulation.  Could you love Maggie?
