INTRODUCING LUPIN…an extremely handsome, 4 yr old (DOB 6/6/21), red/blk/white, 17 lb ShiPoo….and we know this (even though we don’t see the Shih Tzu) because this young man was relinquished to us from an owner who got Lupin and Robyn (see below) from a breeder. Unfortunately, she didn’t know better….and recently found herself in the middle of a divorce and no means to take care of her kids, so she entrusted them to us.

In our care, Lupin has been nothing short of wonderful! He is a cuddler, kisser (once he trusts you), very smart, knows a few commands and seems to be almost potty trained (but we never guarantee). His previous owner said he has a very sensitive tummy and does eat a special food — but we are transitioning him and he is doing well. He LOVES bully sticks and treats…and he’s a good weight. She reports he also has separation anxiety, but as long as he isn’t left alone he’s good. He can be a little human possessive — but for the most part, he is just a big lover!

Lupin loves to be with people, dogs and just about everyone! He will bark to greet you initially, but once he knows you, he’s pretty quiet. Robbers beware!!! If you have a dog and are looking for a companion for your pup, Lupin would be a winner! We are still getting to know him, but we think kids over 8 yrs old welcomed! He loves to play and is a character, so kids will be entertained. He will need to sleep in bed with you and he will get as close as he can — even on top of you, if he has space! Since he does not like being left alone, another small, playful pup a must! Does Lupin sound like a dog you could love forever?
