THIS IS LUIGI…(“Ouija Luigi” if you are a close friend), is a precious, tan/blk, 14 lb, 2-3 yr old, Lhasa Apso who was more than likely hit by a car.  Luigi came to us from Carson Shelter with a serious pelvic injury, broken in four places, requiring a plate and screws! Thanks to our orthopedic hero, Dr. Robert Olds, he put him back together and Luigi is doing fantastic.  His fosters made sure that Luigi got crate rest so that he healed properly.  We’ve learned that Luigi loves toys, gives lots of kisses, doesn’t love being in a crate and will let you know!!  He loves to play with other dogs all the time, so he MUST go to a home where there is another, small, young, playful canine! Now that he is healed, Luigi is a very active boy who likes getting into everything…curious and anxious to explore. While Luigi doesn’t have separation anxiety, he would not enjoy being alone all day, even with another dog.  He is so very human oriented and bonds pretty quickly after the initial introduction! Takes him a minutes sometimes, but he is a lover and will kiss you to life!!  This is a remarkable dog despite what he has been thru.  Do you think this is a pupster you could share your spaghetti and meatballs with?!
