MEET LOUIE…a precocious, happy-g0-lucky little guy who loves to give love!  This adorable young man is a parti colored, gold/white, 7-8 month old Lhasa/Shih Tzu who was dumped in an open field of foxtails and burrs, where many unwanted dogs are dumped.  Why anyone would ever dump Louie is beyond us.  So, you want a puppy?  Well, one of this baby’s favorite things to do is stare out the window and show off his puppy personality (that includes chewing up toilet paper, toys and your toes)!  He is NOT hyper or yappy!  He is very friendly and good with big and little dogs but needs to go to a home where there is at least one small, active dog in the home. Louie would do best with a yard, for outside access for potty training, but he is very smart and is learning.  He will need coaching on this!  That’s what belly bands are for!  Louie loves to kiss, cuddle and snuggle under your armpit in bed at night!  So, if you won’t let him in your bed, this ain’t the boy for you.  Kids over 8 yrs old are welcomed, as Louie does have puppy energy and loves attention and play time!  However, he does like to nibble on your toes, no matter where you are standing, so be prepared!  He would not be good in a senior home as he is under foot a lot.  He also would not be good in a home where he is left all day long, as he does need some training. Louie is very smart and aims to please — he even takes his treats like a gentleman!  Special dog….looking for special home.  Is that with you?
