**UPDATED 8/2023**

MEET MISS LIVVY….a lucky “whatever she is” 2 yr old, 12.2 lb, white and brown liver colored Teripoo, with a head that looks like a mini Aussie!  She does shed a little, so she is probably not hypoallergenic.  Livvy escaped being bred by landing intact in the shelter.  Now, we know why a youngster was dumped in the shelter — hip dysplasia saved her life!  She was so frightened, Shelter gave her to us!  Poor thing, never had a haircut or handling or love :(.  Not the typical dog LHH takes, but she wasn’t getting out without help.  Livvy was walking abnormally, so we took her to the vet and she indeed had hip dysplasia, requiring surgery (otherwise healthy).  She has had surgery on both hips, is good as new and she is now available!!  We have NO IDEA why she hasn’t been adopted!!

Livvy has a very sweet disposition!  She is a little wary of new people and things, but she has gotten so much better while with us.  SWEETNESS OVERLOAD!  All you need is patience because she is a very loving puppy but has spent too much time in rescue :(.  We are socializing her and she is happy!  We have her walking on a leash and wanting to meet and greet the neighbors and their dogs.  She can be fearful of new environments but she settles quickly.  However, in the home she is jealous of other dogs, so she should be your one and only!   We think she would be better in a home with older kids over 12 or without kids.  She needs to get used to quick movements, which still scare her.

If you are looking for a playful, sweet, loving pup, Livvy is your girl.  She wants to go to a home where there her family who will dote on her.  Livvy will emit a soft, adorable howl if she is left alone, now that she has experienced love and company.  Loves her walks and likes to go out about 3-4 times a day.  She is very smart, playful and we love her!  So will you!
