She does shed a little, so she is probably not hypoallergenic.  We found out why a youngster was dumped in the shelter — hip dysplasia saved her life!  She was so frightened, Shelter gave her to us!  Poor thing, never had a haircut or handling or love :(.  Not the typical dog LHH takes, but she wasn’t getting out without help.  She was walking abnormally, so we took her to the vet and she indeed had hip dysplasia, requiring surgery (otherwise healthy).  She has had surgery on both hips, is good as new and she is available!!  We have NO IDEA why she hasn’t been adopted!! 

Livvy is now living with a foster parent who is a student at USC. They have noted that she is a little wary of new people and things, but she has gotten so much better.  SWEETNESS OVERLOAD!  All you need is patience because she is a very loving puppy. She can be fearful of new environments but she settles quickly.  However, in the home she is jealous of other dogs, so she should be your one and only!   We think she would be better in a home with older kids over 12 or without kids.  She needs to get used to quick movements, which still scare her.

If you are looking for a playful, sweet, loving pup, Livvy is your girl.  She wants to go to a home where there is her family who will dote on her.  Livvy does well when left alone if she has spent some time in that new environment.  Loves her walks and likes to go out about 3-4 times a day.  She is very smart, playful and we love her!  So will you!
