*****PENDING ADOPTION*****

MEET LILLY….a sweet, 6 yr old, 14.2 lb, charcoal/white, Shih Tzu, who is being given up by her young owner because she is going off to college.  This was a hard decision for her, but she did not want to leave Lilly with her parents.  They have forced her to live outside in a dog house because they don’t believe dogs should live inside.  That changes here and now!!   When the family was gone, Lilly was able to come in the house and she loved it!  Actually, didn’t have an accident!  She is very outgoing little girl, who loves to meet new people, gives lots of kisses and makes the cutest little “grunts” when you cuddle or snuggle with her!  She will “correct” other dogs when they are being naughty…all done in a nice, but bossy way!  While Lilly is good with other dogs, and likes to play with them, we think she would be very happy if she didn’t have to share!  We think either way she would be happy, as long as she gets lots of human people time!   Lilly can be a little fussy when it comes to food, but we’re pretty sure once it is better than she has been eating, she’ll be happy as a clam!  She can be a bit of an escape artist, so your yard must be secure and she should never be left outside alone. We can’t really report on her potty training skills, but she is not an active dog (she was not really walked), she needs to go to a home that will teach her not to pull on the leash and positive environment behavior!   Help her see the world beyond a backyard!  We believe that once she gets a taste of the “good life” she will be her best self.  She is very loving, but she will need patience during her transition.  We also believe that once she arrives at LHH (on July 26) she will get to know what that is!!  Do you have a heart for this doll?
