MEET LAVERNE & SHIRLEY…..a rough and tumble pair of adorable pups who found themselves on the streets of East LA, dodging cars, so as to make it out alive!  One of our volunteers found Laverne — a 1.5 yr old, 11 lb, brindle gray/white Shih Tzu Mix….and Shirley — also 1.5 yr old, 11 lbs, black tri colored, mini Schnoodle (schnauzer/poodle) — running the streets, totally lost.  No tags, no chip, no collars….these kids are lucky to be alive.  Laverne was extremely shut down and skittish; but she is very funny and loving now.  Shirley was always outgoing and trusting from the start.   Now that they have been in foster care, they are very forthcoming, loving and sweet…..kissy, happy to play with their toys and their foster brother Falco — a 70 lb German Shepherd.  They do need training to be the best dogs they can be.  They are getting the hang of potty training, but will need some help.  Laverne can be a little vocal…while Shirley is more laid back.  They are a wonderful mix of hyper and mellow, cuddlebugs without question!  For sure, they depend on each other and cannot be split up.  The love playing together and running around, so a yard would be wonderful….a family to dote on them and kids over 8 yrs old ideal!   Laverne and Shirley have taken their last trip to the unknown and are looking for their forever home….could that be with you??

Hooray! This dog has been adopted!
