MEET LATTE….a sweetheart of a pup who finds herself needing a new home.  This adorable, 6.5 yr old, tan/silver (DOB 11/15/2015), 16 lb, Morkie (heavy on the Yorkie!) is a very special needs girl.  In the last two weeks, she has almost totally lost her sight but she is otherwise healthy.   She was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 1 in February/2022, but she has been totally checked out and will come with a bottle of insulin (2x day), which should last a while.  She also has some allergy issues, which are also under control with a monthly injection.   Her present mom says, “I was never a dog person, and my partner got her at a Pet Store, but my partner is gone and I find that giving up Latte is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.  With my schedule, it’s just not fair to Latte.”

That being said, Latte is a wonderful, loving, kissy, playful, happy dog.  She had puppy training and knows some commands:  Sit, stay, down, leave it and she kisses on command!!  She doesn’t need another dog to keep her happy…she just wants you and she is great greeting humans!  NO separation anxiety, so she can be left for short periods of time, but why would you want to?  She loves being with her human and doesn’t really consider herself a dog!  She gets nervous in the car when she gets in and getting out…but she is fine in between!  Latte loves her home and being home…so a homebody or mature home would be perfection for her.  She loves her toys…and when she gets a new one, it is her prized possession and she hides it away until she wants to play.  VERY CUTE!!   She is very sensitive and can sense when you are upset…she really is a remarkable dog!  If you have a heart for a dog with a sweet heart, Latte might just be your girl!   She needs a second chance at a wonderful life, which she deserves!!  Please remember she needs ongoing injections and if you are not comfortable with giving these, please do not apply!
