THIS IS KODY….who arrived at Lhasa Happy Homes and let us all know he was here!  No, he isn’t a barker — he just has a big personality!  He is a black/white, 13 lb, 3-4 yr old Shih Tzu, who was roaming the streets of South Central when he was rescued.  A short stint at Carson Shelter and now he is safe 🙂  Kody was an absolute matted mess, so the shelter gave him this hack job of a haircut!  Hair grows!  He is very sweet, great on walks, seems to know where to potty and can hold it for hours (but no guarantees) and is great with people.  He doesn’t like his face smothered (at least not yet) so probably no kids.  If you go slowly with him and he knows you are giving him love, he’s good.  He gets better and better every day!  He loves toys and we’re sure he’ll give himself a whiplash!  He has learned to fetch and most of the time he brings it back.  He is a good boy, and he is active as a puppy and not for the faint at heart!   Kody would be a wonderful running companion and he is “buff” enough to strut with a confident guy!  He definitely has confidence!  He loves other dogs but he will need to go to a home where there is a dog who can hold his own!!  Kody is very interested in everything and busy!  He does whine when he wants something and usually that is either a walk, food or you!  As long as someone is around, like another dog or a human, he could be alone for up to 6 hours a day.  He seems to be able to “hold it” like a camel!  He is a great boy… looking for a great home.  Is that with you?
