Introducing Miss Kiki….who hailed from the SPCA-LA in the South Bay. We got a call on this little 6.5 lb, black, 5-6 yr old Yorkie/ShihTzu — identified as an Affenpinscher (definitely not) at the shelter. She came in on 3/31 with a broken pelvis and a foxtail in her ear and she was not feeling great. By the time we got the call, she was acting like a little princess and couldn’t wait to get out! Got her spayed and all fixed up and she trotted on off to LHH!

Kiki hasn’t been here long, but she has already made herself at home! She needs a little help with her potty training — but she never misses the pp pad that we’ve seen! She likes to make friends with everyone…big, little, canine, human…she is up for the challenge! She is the epitome of a lap dog…but she definitely has energy to spare. She will sit quietly with you…and she will attack you with kisses if she pleases! Very picky eater but when you find something she likes, shes all in!

We haven’t had her long, so we’re still getting to know her, but from what we can tell, she could go into a home with or without another dog as long as she isn’t left on her own long hours. She does settle down, but she will share her displeasure when you first leave. She is so tiny and portable (and can be very quiet) that she would be happy to sit in a bag next to you at a meeting…or shower you with kisses any day of the week.
